Sendcloud, the all-in-one shipping platform for e-commerce, has announced Amelia Scott as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With a proven track record in scaling businesses, Scott is set to lead the company’s efforts to expand into new markets and enhance its sales strategy, all while keeping the customer experience at the forefront.
E-commerce continues to evolve, and customer expectations around shipping are higher than ever. In fact, 44% of shoppers abandon their carts when delivery expectations aren’t met, and 55% prefer to adjust delivery options post-shipment. Sendcloud aims to bridge this gap by automating and centralizing the shipping process, giving merchants the tools they need to meet these demands effortlessly.
Amelia Scott, with over a decade of experience in B2B SaaS sales, is poised to help Sendcloud reach new heights. Her previous role as Global Vice President of Sales at Culture Amp saw her leading high-performing teams across regions, driving notable growth. Now, she’ll focus on scaling Sendcloud’s revenue by streamlining its sales processes and driving product adoption.
“Having Amelia on board puts us in a fantastic position to accelerate our growth and deliver greater value to our merchants. As someone who has been closely involved in leading our sales efforts, it gives me confidence that her expertise in global sales operations will ensure we continue to scale effectively and deliver exceptional results,” says Sabi Tolou, CCO at Sendcloud, who will now in turn focus on expanding key logistics partnerships as part of the company’s strategy.
Sendcloud’s leadership team is confident that Scott’s appointment will accelerate its mission to become Europe’s leading shipping platform. Alongside the new CRO, CCO Sabi Tolou will shift focus to expanding logistics partnerships, aiming to strengthen the company's global presence.
Earlier this year, Sendcloud was named in the FT1000 and Top 100 Next Unicorns, cementing its place as a rising star in e-commerce solutions. With Scott at the helm, the company is well-positioned to continue its rapid growth and improve the shipping experience for merchants around the world.
