Apple’s Clean Up feature leverages advanced AI to intelligently reconstruct the background after removing an object. This update follows a similar feature introduced earlier this year by Google Photos, known as Magic Eraser, which also offers object removal capabilities.
Since July, Apple has been rolling out its suite of Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.1 developer betas. This collection includes enhancements such as writing tools, SMS and Mail notification summaries, natural language search in Photos, and transcription capabilities for calls and voice recordings in Notes. Currently, Apple Intelligence features are available exclusively to English-speaking users in the U.S.
