Following its introduction in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland in September 2023, Spotify expanded Daylist to 65 more countries in March 2024. Now, the company is making it available globally. The feature also supports 14 new languages, including Arabic, French (Canada and France), German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and more.
Spotify's Daylist adapts in real time, updating its content with playful titles such as “bedroom pop banger early morning” and “90s rave rainforest late night.” The playlist utilizes data from your unique listening patterns, including niche genres and microgenres, to suggest tracks that match your mood and the time of day.
Since its broader rollout, Daylist has seen strong engagement, with 70% of users returning weekly. While Spotify has not disclosed the total number of Daylist users or the impact on music discovery, the feature's appeal is clear.
To access Daylist, simply navigate to the “Made for You” section in the Spotify app or visit the web link provided. You can also save your favorite playlists by selecting the “Add to playlist” option and creating a new playlist to keep your favorite Daylist moments.
